The Florida Strawberry Festival has been on our to-do-in-Florida list for a while, so when it finally came time for the festival, we knew we had to go. Cory's brother Jackson and his girlfriend Abbey were visiting us at the time and they thought it sounded fun too.
After traveling across 33+ states and living in 6+ cities, I often get asked where I am originally from. When I say "Picayune, Mississippi" their response is usually "Uhhhhhh..." I always have to follow up with "it's about 50 miles from New Orleans."
The three questions John and I get asked all the time are, "How do you come up with all of these fun ideas?" "Do you ever work?" and "How do you afford to do all of this?"
We always try to have something planned before each weekend. I can tell you from experience planning something fun on the day of is never a good idea and usually ends with us not doing anything at all.
