I love this essential oil glass cleaner.  It’s amazing! It’s all natural.  No toxic chemicals or fumes. It’s super easy to make.  Only 4 ingredients – and they’re things I always have on hand, so I can whip up a new batch of glass cleaner whenever I need it. It’s cheap- only costs pennies to clean all the mirrors, windows, and glass  in my whole house. It works better than store-bought glass cleaners. removes fingerprints, water spots, dirt, and grime no streaks no spots windows, glass, & mirrors get super shiny & sparkly     What’s in mirror & glass cleaner recipe? white vinegar – removes film from glass surface, cleans dirt & grime,  and eliminates smudges rubbing alcohol or vodka – evaporates quickly so streaks don’t form, leaves spot-free finish, and shines surface cornstarch – this is the “secret” ingredient that makes this the BEST glass cleaner!  Why does cornstarch work so well in glass cleaners?  Turns out glass and mirrors aren’t actually perfectly smooth.  They have teeny tiny pits in the surface.  And water can get trapped in those pits and the water in most glass cleaners gets bonded or attracted to the water in those pits. Last year, I tried to make my own glass cleaner with black tea and vinegar. It was disastrous. A black film clung to my bathroom mirror for weeks. It looked like you were brushing your teeth in an old Bela Lugosi film. Finally, when I got tired of pretending I was a vampire, I scrubbed it down with some old dry newspaper (paper towels were like, "Um, no. You made this mess. YOU clean it up") and things got back to normal. Tip time: For extra-shiny, streak-free mirrors, do a final wipe with (black and white) newspaper. It's kinda awesome. In any case, I haven't had the courage to venture back into the realm of homemade glass cleaners until this moment - when I happen to be out of my 7th Generation. Remember how running out of store-bought things works when you want the impetus to try making something at home? In all the searching I did for glass cleaners, I found three options I wanted to try.
