Before he was famous, Bieber was just another kid with a deep passion for music, but thanks to some help from the Internet and his mom, he was able to score a record deal at the age of 14.

In 2008, Justin Bieber was discovered by Scooter Braun, who happened to come across Bieberâ??s videos on YouTube and later became his manager. Braun arranged for him to meet with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bieber was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher, and then to a recording contract with Island Records offered by L.A. Reid.
