The son of Barry and Amy Kitrell, Bo was born on Sept. 13, 1995. He is majoring in civil engineering and was has been named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll each of his first four semesters. He also has been active in NU’s community outreach efforts, earning spots on the Brook Berringer and Tom Osborne Citizenship Teams. Kitrell has volunteered his time with Uplifting Athletes, American Education Week, FCA and local hospital visits.
