Creighton Hamik had 160 tackles and four interceptions during his career as a linebacker at Kearney Catholic. A knee injury kept him on the sidelines for several games during his senior season, but he was still able to catch eight passes for 106 yards and one touchdown on offense. As a junior in 2014, he caught eight passes for 139 yards and three touchdowns to help Kearney Catholic advance to the state playoffs.
