The 6-4, 280-pound Rath has been a key reserve at defensive tackle the past two seasons and hopes to help fill the void left by the departure of 2015 starters and NFL Draftees Maliek Collins and Vincent Valentine. Rath joined the Nebraska program in 2013 after beginning his college career at South Dakota State. He has been outstanding in the classroom, earning spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll six times. He carries a 3.638 cumulative grade-point average in agricultural economics and will graduate in December.
