Owner of the local Kwik-E-Mart. Came from India in search of the land of opportunity. Known for his squishees and vegetarian chili-dog. Always being held up at gunpoint. Lives downstairs from Paul and Linda McCartney (also vegetarians, as is Lisa Simpson). Says: "I don't speak any English. Hot dog, hot dog. Oh, look at this crazy revolving pen in our bargain buys near the till. Look at the way it goes around it's just . . . look at the craziness."

He is the Indian immigrant proprietor of the Kwik-E-Mart, a popular convenience store in Springfield, and is well known for his catchphrase, "Thank you, come again."[1] He is voiced by Hank Azaria and first appeared in the episode "The Telltale Head".
