Martin John Christopher Freeman[2] (born 8 September 1971)[3] is an English actor, who became known for portraying Tim Canterbury in the original UK version of sitcom mockumentary The Office, Dr. John Watson in the British crime drama Sherlock, Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit film trilogy, and Lester Nygaard in the dark comedy-crime drama TV series Fargo.

In the upcoming series of the BBC’s Sherlock, viewers will see the relationship between Martin Freeman’s Doctor Watson, and his wife, Mary, begin to crumble after the couple are blessed with a child.

The Sherlock actor, 46, kept things casually cool in a bomber jacket and baker boy cap as he embarked on a relaxing stroll around North London, with his female companion.
