We missed seeing Bruce Springsteen, one of my teenage heroes, in concert in San Sebastian, northern Spain by three days. And we stayed at the glorious Belle Epoque Hotel Maria Cristina, the only five star hotel in San Sebastián, where the performer had also been staying.
