Sanju (Hindi pronunciation: [səndʒuː]) is a 2018 Indian biographical film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. It was jointly produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra under the banners Rajkumar Hirani Films and Vinod Chopra Films respectively.

Rajkumar Hirani has been piquing the curiosity of the audience day by day by revealing the looks of the characters from his upcoming biopic on Sanjay Dutt, titled 'Sanju'. Today, the director once again took to Twitter to unveil the look of yet another important actor from the film. Yes, we're talking about none other than Anushka Sharma's character in 'Sanju'. Hirani tweeted, "And here is my dear friend Anushka. It’s a special appearance....but she worked on every nuance of the role for days together. Can anyone guess who she plays?....Will reveal tomorrow at the trailer launch. @AnushkaSharma #RanbirKapoor #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms @foxstarhindi". Anushka, who is seen sporting a new look, reportedly plays a journalist in the film. The poster sees the actress posing in front of a backdrop of Ranbir Kapoor aka Sanju. The makers are all set to launch the trailer of 'Sanju' tomorrow. The Dutt biopic will hit the screens on June 29.
