Hey kids, it’s Tommy and for today’s Tommylog I want to share with you my 4 key ingredients to a successful marriage. Marriage isn’t easy and heaven knows it sure can take a lot of work. I know from experience a solid marriage is a dying commodity these days with so many forces working against our success! Here are my 4 key ingredients to a successful marriage.

Hey kids, it’s Tommy and for today’s Tommylog I’m joined in the studio by my sweetheart, Becky. Few people outside our inner circle know that we met on a faith-based dating website. So for todays chat, “we,” -well, Becky who pretty much commands the conversation – tell you how we met and we both share our dating experience after being happily married for over 12 years.

Yesterday marked my 10 year wedding anniversary with my sweetheart Becky. What a blessing the last 10 years have been and the marvelous times we have had. Each day with her is just an amazing day and this journey gets better and better.

I have been watching the family of a dear friend fall apart and to be honest IT STINKS! The fighting, the yelling, the tears and the lies that are being told –just stunning. The fact of the matter they have a 9 year old and she is being pushed and pulled and torn. Watching this just breaks my heart. It’s just not her fault. She needs love and she needs parents. Divorce is war, plain and simple. it is 100% okay to disagree I get that, but to carry on and to treat your spouse like this..in front of the child to boot. WOW JUST WOW! What grade are you in?

On my 9th anniversary with my sweetheart Becky, I reflect on what life is like having someone to take care. There is nothing more important in my life than making her happy. Building a family together is just the BEST EVER! The ups and downs make it all worth it.
