Last week, Life Ok launched its new show Savdhan India @11 Crime Alert. The crime diary vouches to focus on real life based felonies. The first episode showcased the story of two sisters who kill their parents to attain freedom. Another episode narrated the ordeal of a young girl who was gangraped by truck drivers. Both cases were shot well and focussed on the minute details of the case, which made for an interesting watch. However, Sony’s Crime Patrol has been doing this since 2003. Previously, Channel V also came up with a similar show titled Gumrah, but the programme focussed on juvenile offences. - Crime Patrol or Savdhan India: What will you watch?
