In his poem "Chicago," Carl Sandburg first refers to this great city as "Hog Butcher For the World." And while the literal meaning behind that moniker has faded since the mid-twentieth century closing of the Union Stock Yards, it anchors and inspires our ethos in three meaningful ways:
For starters, we love hops. We love the variety of flavors and aromas they contribute to beer and employ (for the most part) a hops-first approach to ensuring our beers are memorable and bursting with flavor and aroma. Often, we'll do so by highlighting a single variety. Other times, it'll be bucketfuls of our own proprietary blends that we're dumping into the boil kettle in pursuit of keeping your tastebuds entertained.
PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to keep this list as updated as possible, but cannot guarantee that our beer will be available at listed accounts at all times. Please click the account links for current availability or (better yet) call the establishment and ask them if our beer indeed floweths.
