Microbrews
All of Stockholm’s handcrafted beers are brewed in an Old World Tradition, cask-conditioned and unfiltered, for full balanced flavor. Our beers begin with 2 row barley malts. To which we will add other malts, grains, and selected hops for each individual brew. This combination of ingredients, or “wort”, is cooked in the small vat in our front window. After cooling, it is transferred to the larger vat where the yeast is added for its initial fermentation of 3 – 4 days. This “young beer” is then transferred to individual kegs where fermentation continues. This allows for the “cask-conditioning” which naturally carbonates our beers. Lastly, we choose to not filter our beers. The result is a remarkable smooth yet full flavor beer which can be enjoyed on its own or paired with any of our menu items.
