Used Bookstore and Brewpub

We love books. We love beer. We love people. At Books & Brews we’re passionate about disconnecting people from technology and reconnecting them with each other. Books are our passion and our love of literacy shines through in all aspects of our business. Our bookstore in the front of the building sells gently used books of all kinds at an affordable price, and 10% of all proceeds goes to IndyReads, a nonprofit that offers adult and childhood literacy programs. Our bar in the back sells our very own craft beers, all cleverly named after books. Books & Brews is a place for the reader, for the scholar, for the gamer, for the drinker, for the music lover, for the individual. If this sounds like you, we hope you’ll come join us for a good book, a great drink, and an invigorating conversation or two.

Come in and enjoy what has been voted the best grilled cheese in Indiana! We have a full selection of hand crafted sandwiches made with meat from the Smoking Goose, meat and cheese plates, and local chips from Broad Ripple Chip Company. Eat Your Heart Out, George R.R. From humble beginnings, books&brews has grown into a small but mighty powerhouse brewery in Indianapolis. We are proud to say we brew all our own beers and all are given literary names. Our beer selection is constantly rotating, so be sure to check this page regularly for updates. Every Friday we tap a special beer to go along with our free movie showing. We also currently have a special Secret Library Series bottle releases and several bourbon barrel aged brews that come out periodically throughout the month. With so much great craft beer to try, we suggest looking into a mug club membership. Happy drinking, friends!

NEW! Books & Brews Business Pro combines co-working space with the every day amenities of books & brews at a discounted price. Starting December 1st, 2016, we will be offering the first 20 members a discounted price of $20/month. This initial price is only good for the first 20 people who sign up and we will honor that price indefinitely.
