Madhouse Brewing Co. began in 2009 when Mason convinced a group of friends and family to contribute funds to finance the brewery. A used brewing system was purchased and set up in one of the former Maytag Corp. buildings in Newton, IA. Operations began with the production of two beers- Pastime Pale Ale and American Wheat.

HONEY PILSNER Light and crisp, our Honey Pilsner has great flavor for an easy drinking lager beer. It is golden in color, with pleasant floral aromas from noble hop additions.
