Peabody Heights Brewery

Peabody Heights is a locally owned incubator of excellent, independent craft beers. We are the largest brewery in Baltimore City and do contract brewing.

Peabody Heights was the first brewery to be opened within Baltimore city limits in over 35 years. The brewery takes its name from the original neighborhood name, which has since been changed to Charles Village. The brewery produced its first batch of beer in December 2012 and is now brewing more than 2,000 barrels each month.  It is owned and operated by Baltimore-native entrepreneurs and investors. We offer a unique co-op arrangement that allows small brewers to maintain the independence and integrity of their products. Our members have already spent years perfecting their recipes in garages and brew pubs. They may have already built their own brewhouse from the ground up,  but now need more capacity. They are passionate about their beers, and still deeply involved in every step of the process. The co-op brewers of Peabody Heights are all independently owned and managed companies, run by beer experts. By taking the time and considerable expense to build an expandable plant, Peabody Heights has simply enabled these brewers to scale up rapidly and bring their handcrafted products to a wider audience.  We are currently brewing more than 2,000 barrels of beer each month. Wednesday 5-9pm Friday 5-9pm Saturday 11am-4pm Our tasting room is open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for you to enjoy.  Ask about a tour of our facilities and relive some of the history of the space as you sip one of our brews. Our main tasting room hall is 2000sqft and we have just opened up our beer garden for the summer months! Food trucks come on a rotating basis.
