Bog Iron Brewing is a small microbrewery located in Norton, Massachusetts. At the end of 2011, Bog Iron Brewing was formed. After just over a year of licensing, inspections, etc., our first beers were delivered to the public in early 2013. The founders of Bog Iron Brewing Matt, Brian and Frank Bog Iron was started, and is run, by three owners (Frank, Brian, and Matt). Every drop of beer that we have produced has been brewed by one of the owners, on our own equipment, on the premises and we have no intention of changing that any time soon.

You can find our beers in our taproom, or at any of the fine establishments that carry us on draft. We put a lot of work into our all of our beers and we want to come up with beers that would can enjoyed by a wide audience. You’ll find us not specializing in a few different styles, but rather releasing a wide variety of beer; everything from an American Blonde ale to a Mezcal barrel aged Braggot or a simple Berliner Weisse and just about everything in between. We’re constantly trying to develop beers that are a little outside the box, such as our Devil’s Footprint, as well as beers that are representations of classic styles, such as our Dunkelweizen or Campout Mild. Through it all, our focus is on quality and brewing the best beers we can.

The Bog Iron beers are a product of a 15-barrel 3 vessel custom-built single-tier brewhouse, composed of a hot liquor tank, mash/lauter tun, and boil kettle. Brewing on this system allows us to produce a very consistent product, while still being small enough to allow us to experiment.

The best way to get your hands on our beers is IN the taproom. We serve soft pretzels in our taproom from Wicked Pretzels. You are more than welcome to bring your own food, as well. Go across the street and grab some wings from Wendell’s or something from one of the many other local restaurants.
