Founder Aaron Rieland made his first attempt at homebrew in 2001. After a few mishaps and explosive bottles, he put his brewing on hold. 11 years, a bit of research and a mean beard later, he's rekindled his love of crafting beer. Today with the help of Family and Friends we're turning his Bad Habit into something more. Opening in the fall of 2015, Saint Josephs first brewery in over 100 years! We're looking forward to bringing small batch craft brewing to Central Minnesota.
Bad Habit Brewing features a custom 5 bbl brew house and four 5 bbl fermenters. The brewery is open to the taproom so our customers can see our process and how the beer is made. We will have 7-8 rotating taps of ales plus homemade sodas on tap.
