Crane Brewing Company is focused on three styles, Saison, Berliner Weiss and Lambic. No matter what styles, hybrids or experiments we pursue in the future, these styles will be at the heart of our efforts and output. We believe that these three styles are the foundations upon which we can place a variety of hops, wild yeast, souring bacteria, wood-aging, spices, fruit, and specialty malt. We see a desire for more beer of these styles, and we promise to challenge your expectation of what these styles can offer in relation to seasonality and flavor combinations. While we will distribute four standard versions of these styles year-round in 750 mL bottles and kegs, we will offer brewery-only special releases and one-off experimental batches throughout the year.

We are focusing our efforts on those wild and vibrant beers you all love so much. We want to bring you dry and rustic ales like those of Wallonia and the Senne Valley, fermented with your favorite little beasts in wood and steel after the style of the old country. In order to produce such wild and sour beers we will be harvesting yeast and propagating it in our in-house laboratory. We take traditional methods seriously, but we also have a few ideas of our own.

We dreamed from day one of having a beautiful taproom where people could come to visit the brewery, drink fresh beer from the source, and meet other beer lovers. This day finally came true November 25th, 2016. Travel down our gravel drive, and you will find the taproom on the left side of our brewery.
