Here at Logboat we brew the beers we like to drink. We constantly try to innovate and push ourselves to brew new, unique, and interesting beers to keep things fresh and exciting. Beer is meant to be enjoyed with friends and family in a social setting. We try our best to provide both a great atmosphere for enjoying our craft, as well as an engaging, educational experience to become better acquainted with the Logboat brand.

During the exploration of equipment manufacturers to supply Logboat with our tanks, we wanted very badly to support an American company. We were discouraged by the pricing associated with U.S. built stainless tanks until our head brewer, Josh Rein, mentioned Metalcraft Fabrication, now MCF Craft Brewing Systems (www.metalcraftfabrication.com), out of Portland, OR. Contacts were made, conversations were had, and before we knew it Tyson, Andrew, Judson, and Josh were on a plane to Portland to visit Metalcraft, meet with their team, design our brewhouse, and put a down payment on what would become the single largest purchase in our lives. We brew all of our beer on a 30 barrel, 3 vessel brewhouse and currently have 10 fermentation tanks (3 - 30bbl FVs & 7 - 60bbl FVs) and 3 conditioning tanks (2 - 60bbl BBTs & 1 - 30bbl BBT).

The Logboat Taproom is a place we like to consider our educational room. Our taproom provides us a unique opportunity to interact with our customers so they can get to know us, our beers, and as much as they care to know about the brewing process and our philosophy around our craft. It was very important to us to utilize reclaimed materials in the build out of our taproom and were able to source some very old, storied Missouri Heart Pine for our bar top and table tops. Elmwood Reclaimed Timber out of Kansas City, MO sourced and built our bar and all of our tables.

Here at Logboat we like to stick to what we're best at...making beer. But we also believe that you should be able to have a great meal while enjoying our taproom and park. That's why we have teamed up with some friends to give our customers a real taste of Columbia! Check out our food truck schedule below!
