CHUCK DOESN’T FOLLOW THE RULES Chuck spent more than a decade at a large craft brewery perfecting his brewing skills and following all the right recipes. But Chuck’s preferred methods of brewing are a little more… experimental. So he built himself a camp in the woods to make his own kind of beer. He had no electricity and no regard for the processes that are supposed to govern well-made beer. There is an exactness in his methods, but he says his measurements go by “touch.” When Chuck’s off-the-grid creations became the stuff of legend in the craft beer world, it was time to bring his beer out of the woods and into the Lab. Don’t expect him to be there a lot.

Bad Lab offers a variety of year-round beers and rotational small batch offerings. Chuck’s methods are not mainstream. Whether he’s playing music to his brews (he claims it helps), or innovating new techniques, he uses only top quality ingredients…He’s picky like that. Currently available on draft and in bottles, every one of Chuck’s beers are sparked from an idea, and formulated in the Lab.

Bad Lab refuses to follow the rules. We experiment, explore, and endeavor to create the best damn beer we’ve ever tasted. Our beer is a precise concoction of art and science. We challenge ourselves to enhance our community and support the true innovators within it. We strive to empower our fans to defy boundaries, investigate curiosity, and appreciate that anything is possible with a little chaos and enough thirst. We don’t wait for things to happen; we create the things that happen.
