Throwback is a small, inspired brewery dedicated to crafting delicious, farm-fresh beers from local ingredients. Our vision at Throwback is to acquire 100% of our ingredients (such as hops, wheat, barley, fruit, and spices) from within 200 miles of the brewery. Currently, we are about 70 to 90% of the way there (depending on the beer) – which is really unique for the industry and something we are quite proud of.

Throwback brews flavorful, multi-dimensional beers that are very smooth and enjoyable to drink. We strive to use as many local ingredients as possible, including hops and malt. We are the only brewery in New Hampshire that uses local malt in every single batch of beer. The percentage of local malt is anywhere from 70 to 100%, depending upon the beer. In addition, many of our beers have been designed to take advantage of ingredients that can be easily grown in New England – such as local wheat, local maple syrup, local apple wood, etc. Sometimes our beers might include an unusual ingredient or two (like a jalapeno), but we take pride in the fact that those ingredients are always well balanced in our beer and never overwhelming. At Throwback Brewery, we always brew the beer that we love, so we hope you love the beer that we brew!
