Roots Brewing Company opened its doors in August 2014 by friends Jason Parrish and Russell Scimeca. Jason's experience in product research & development at Brewery Ommegang and Russ's passion for homebrewing sparked an idea- opening the first craft brewery in Oneonta, NY. This downtown location was chosen because of the diverse artistic community- many artists, authors, and independent thinkers gather here over a pint.
