A homebrewer and a potter decided to start a small town microbrewery back in 2013. The husband-wife duo of Nate Cornett and Lisa Wolters knew what they liked — good beer, interesting art and their funky hometown of Yellow Springs — and thought others might too. Yellow Springs Brewery became a synergy of all three — a true community brewery for villagers and visitors alike, an intimate art gallery displaying eclectic work and, most importantly, a haven for seasoned beer lovers as well as the craft beer curious.

Eagles can mean a lot of things — freedom, strength, vision — but to Yellow Springs Brewery, the eagle suggests a certain spirit. A spirit that means you have the freedom, strength, and vision to reach higher, to not just accept the status quo, to embrace new perspectives. To dream. The eagle has long been a visual part of Yellow Springs Brewery’s dream and it’s now moving into the starring role. The Yellow Springs Brewery team shares a love of really good beer. Beer that’s distinct. Beer that’s thought through all the way from brewing to canning. Beer that’s carefully crafted. Our dream of providing you with good beer is realized every day when you open one of our cans at home or when we serve you a pint in our taproom.

Our taproom, located in the same facility as our brewhouse, is the best place to taste our beers, super fresh and straight from the tap. We have a large and regularly changing list of beers to choose from, either as part of a tasting flight or by the pint. You can also grab some beer to go by filling a growler or howler.
