Founded in 1996, Bullfrog Brewery is an award-winning craft microbrewery, brewpub, and restaurant nestled comfortably in the vibrant heart of downtown Williamsport ... a city that is, itself, the cultural heart of scenic Northcentral Pennsylvania. Born of fortuitous circumstance and ambitious aspiration, we opened in August of 1996 with a committed 'focal on local' philosophy and a simple goal ... to be the place that people need to spend time, to brew beers that people need to have in their life, to offer food that people need to eat, to offer live music that people need to hear, and to be the kind of place that our people need to work.

We are dedicated to artfully and lovingly crafting the finest ales, lagers, and specialty beers imaginable, and we feature a continually rotating menu of staple, seasonal, and distinct craft brews ... blending old-world craftsmanship with a distinctly modern palette of flavors and ingredients, and at every opportunity including locally grown hops, berries, herbs, pumpkins, fruits, or locally roasted, estate-grown coffees from Alabaster Coffee Roaster & Tea Company of Williamsport. Over the years, we have brewed and served almost every style of beer catalogued, and even a few that aren't (well over 350 and counting now). We have a strong penchant for showcasing 'Belgish' (Belgian Style) ales that, in our humble opinion, offers the drinker the most exciting and adventurous taste experience the world of beer has to offer ... especially with our farmhouse ales, ciders, and barrel-aged or wild ales ... but we by no means limit ourselves to that brewing tradition alone, as we enjoy having fun with our frothy offerings to you. Because, well ... beer is fun!

Our dining menus offer a variety and quality of food beyond compare in the area, as we have proudly created them with a dedicated 'farm-to-table' approach ... because we care not only about the excellence of your dining experience, but also the healthfulness of your meal. Sourcing seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as locally-pastured animals, enables us to create delicious menu items celebrating the unique flavors of our region. We wholeheartedly believe in supporting local farmers and businesses, working together toward a stronger local economy, and our relationships with local producers continue to grow as we discover more and better ways to incorporate their tasty, wholesome foods into our menu for you.
