The beer brewing seeds got planted on Father’s Day 2010 when my two daughters gave me a Mr. Beer,
beer brewing kit, for Father’s Day. The Mr. Beer kit was an extract based kit that allowed me to brew
two different beers on the kitchen stove and bottle them for future use. At the time I made two beers
that I thought were outstanding beers, but in hindsight were probably dreadful.
