Our Story | Millcreek Brewing
The Millcreek Brewing Company began over 17 years ago in our brewer’s garage. After winning home brew competitions and with the encouragement of friends and family, he joined with two partners, who had a similar love of craft beer, to embark on a journey to open Millcreek’s original brewpub.
The brewery is located in the former Sportsmen’s Club building on West Lake Road in Erie, Pennsylvania. The totally renovated 10,000-square-foot space is defined by a large Bier Halle in the back of the building that features two-story ceilings, exposed beams, hardwood floors, wooden library tables from Cathedral Prep High School, church pews from a Venango County church, and bowling alleys from the Erie Maennerchor Club, which were repurposed into tables. Through the Bier Halle is a 5,000-square-foot seasonal Biergarten, resplendent with flowers and a fountain. A more intimate Bierstube, with its own outdoor patio, is located in the front of the building.
