Orf Brewing | About
We are starting out small, due to financial limitations. We're currently using a small-batch "nanobrewery", what could be termed a "proof of concept" (i.e., legal but not sustainable) with a 1.5-barrel system. If we had our druthers, we'd be using a custom-designed 30-barrel brewhouse to make our ales, along with a canning line to boot. We plan to package straight out of the gates anyway, selling kegs of draught beer to bars and restaurants, and possibly bottles or cans to retail stores.

Orf Brewing | Beers
At Orf Brewing, we start each recipe with a base of established tradition and mix in some modern technique. Next we add a dash of whimsy, maybe a pinch of why-not, and sprinkle in some what the-?. We then refine it all until we end up with a heaping helping of delicious.

Orf Brewing | History
Brewing is in Chris Orf's blood. Orf Brewing history stretches back at least to the 1840s, when a family of German immigrants, all of whom were named Orf, settled in the farmland outside of St. Louis. Being as they were German, they brewed various concoctions with the grains they grew.
